Notes on a Buddhist path

With gratitude…

If you can just appreciate each thing, one by one, then you will have pure gratitude. Even though you observe just one flower, that one flower includes everything. ~ Shunryu Suzuki Roshi

There’s a new article of mine up at Life As a Human. It’s about winter and spring and the gratitude that arises at this time of year. Gratitude for the wet white light that leaks through the grey mesh of morning clouds. Gratitude for the leaves remembering themselves with green unfurling proclamations. Gratitude for finding our way through winter’s cold rooms to the warm door of spring’s homecoming.

What are you grateful for? Tell me more.
